Hi! My name's Katie and I'm the Network Data Analyst. I've worked in the NHS for over 8 years in a data and audit background. I started as an apprentice in the Emergency department working on: International Recruitment, the Trauma Audit Research Network and developing reports on Alcohol & Illicit Drug use. I've developed my skills and knowledge in multiple departments such as: Radiology where I would work on National Benchmarking as well as local audits, Stroke Medicine for the SSNAP Audit, Morbidity & Mortality where we developed new ways to conduct mortality reviews and the implementation of Medical Examiners, and the National Emergency Laparotomy Audit in General Surgery before coming to the Network. I have worked with engagement in new processes to help improve care across multiple NHS services. I've also done work previously to support new people to begin a career in the NHS. I have worked with the Apprenticeship team at University Hospitals of Leicester to provide support & guidance to potential new applicants as well as working previously with those on work experience through The Prince's Trust. I am dedicated to making sure we have rich, accurate data across the region that can be used to support children's services. In my spare time, I like to travel, read and try my hand at different crafts. I also enjoy gardening and learning new languages.
